About
1-on-1 Cross-Cultural Conversations
Meet across cultures. Build connections. Expand your network.
Join International Education Peace Volunteers (IEPV) for meaningful conversations with Atlanta’s diverse international community and opportunities to connect with people especially public health experts who bring valuable perspectives from their field.
- Connect personally. Share stories and discover perspectives beyond your own.
- Grow your network. Meet community members and public health professionals through authentic conversation.
- Build intercultural skills. Practice active listening, cultural awareness, and open, respectful communication.
Volunteers are paired with a conversation partner at 9:30 AM for approximately one hour of conversation in a welcoming space where everyone can feel heard and included.
Come with curiosity. Leave with new perspectives and meaningful connections.
No prior experience is required. IEPV provides guidance and conversation support. Come with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to listen.
