Join Georgia State alumni, faculty, staff and students for a service project with Trees Atlanta at their Native Plant Sale at the Carter Center. In its 10th year, the GSU Cares Annual Day of Service, hosted by the Alumni Association and Office of Civic Engagement, is a valued tradition during which alumni, students, and friends of Georgia State gather to give back to our communities.
Project tasks include assisting customers with shopping and checkout, organizing plants, and setup and cleanup. Please bring your own reusable water bottle, a pair of work gloves and wear long pants and close-toed shoes.
Ages 16+. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Each attendee will receive a GSU Cares t-shirt, while supplies last. Snacks will be provided.
