About

Join Georgia State alumni, faculty, staff and students for a service project with Food Well Alliance. Give back, get your hands dirty and engage with some beautiful, natural and often overlooked places in Atlanta. In its 10th year, the GSU Cares Annual Day of Service, hosted by the Alumni Association and Office of Civic Engagement, is a valued tradition during which alumni, students, and friends of Georgia State gather to give back to our communities.

This project will take place at the Community Garden of Morrow. Typical tasks include weeding, mulching, turning compost, garden beautification, invasive plant removal and planting/harvesting as needed. All tools and instruction will be provided.

All ages are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Each attendee will receive a GSU Cares t-shirt, while supplies last. Snacks will be provided.
