GSU Cares @ Olmsted Linear Park Alliance

Join Georgia State alumni and current students for a service project with the Olmsted Linear Park Alliance. This project will take place at Dellwood Park and will include general landscaping tasks such as spreading mulch, pulling weeds, watering trees, trail maintenance, etc. Each attendee will receive a GSU Cares 2022 t-shirt! 

All ages are welcome. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and wear long pants. Snacks will be provided. 

About Olmsted Linear Park Alliance: 
In August 1995, local residents and non-profit organizations joined forces to come up with a strategy to stabilize and rehabilitate the Olmsted Linear Park. All six park segments have been rehabilitated, work that has included the addition of nearly 6,000 linear feet of paths and the installation of 2,600 new trees and shrubs.
